A Facsimile Reproduction of the Original Austin, TX Steck Company 1935 First Thus Cloth Over Boards Very Good No Jacket Presentation Copy Facsimile reproduction of the Gammel edition of 1892. Minor shelfwear to head and foot of spine and corners. Contains both sections from the original publication, Early Times in Texas, or the adventures of Jack Dobell (the subtitle occurs first on the first page of the narrative, not on the title page), pages 13-135, and The Young Explorers, or Continuation of the Adventures of Jack Dobell, pages 1-238, and an appendix, List of Men under the command of Col. J. W. Fannin in 1835-36, pages 243-253. There is no leaf for pages 239/240. Tipped in, inside front cover, presentation card from R. H. Porter of the Steck Company. Rear Hinge starting. Small scuff at bottom of back cover. Steck reprinted this facsimile in 1967. Price: 35.00 USD
